Our Notes & References

Includes the details of the coronation itself, in a thicker volume finely bound in full red soft calf with blue silk pastedowns: most probably from a close member of the Imperial family. This volume also includes the announcement of the coronation day, as well as the movements of the Imperial Regalia from St. Petersburg to the Moscow Kremlin, where Nicholas’ coronation was taking place. All texts here are in Russian and French. The two other volumes, in French, list the foreign head of states, princes and diplomats present at the coronation.
